MSV Olympic Intervention IV |
The Olympic Intervention IV vessel enhances Oceaneering deepwater project capabilities. The new build vessel is designed for subsea hardware installations; inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) projects; and conducting well intervention services in deepwater. Examples of subsea hardware installations include umbilicals, subsea trees, jumpers, flying leads, and manifolds, while IRM projects range from pipeline inspections and repairs to choke changes. Well intervention services will employ the Subsea Intervention Lubricator System (SILS) for riserless wireline, electric line, and plug and abandonment operations. The vessel features a satellite communications equipment system capable of transmitting streaming video for real-time work observation by shore personnel. Features
