Heat Treatment Expansion in Houston, TX for Oceaneering Inspection

Two 32-ft x 36 in OD pressure vessels manufactures by Texas Systems and Controls were among the first stress relief work successfully completed at Oceaneering Inspection's new Houston heat treatment facility. Oceaneering Inspection has opened a new-build heat treatment facility for stress relieving large diameter pipe spools and pressure vessels at 11927A FM 529 in Houston, TX. Located on the corporate campus of Oceaneering International, Inc., the 17' x 17' x 60' track mounted furnace is retractable along a 120' hearth. The maximum temperature specification is 1450 F and vessels weighing 100,000 lb can be accommodated.

The new oven adds additional capabilities to the company's existing 7' x 7' and 8' x 15' heat treatment ovens. Also offered are on-site localized heat treatment and combustion capabilities.
