New Blowout Preventer Control Systems Deployed

Oceaneering International, Inc. successfully installed, tested and commissioned two blowout preventer (BOP) control systems in Q2 2009. The company designs and manufactures premium deepwater BOP control systems for installation in depths to 12,000 fsw. A third BOP control system is due for Q3 2009 installation on a new build rig. These projects expand the company's deepwater electro hydraulic (EH) and hydraulic subsea portfolio.

The company also produces premium BOP component control assemblies to modify existing control systems for rig operational extensions or for integration with new and existing rigs.
