This course deals with various aspects of flow and heat transfer phenomena in multiphase systems, mostly focused on the gas-liquid flow. Basic flow patterns and their background physics, conservation equations, analytical models and experimental results are introduced. In addition, details on the boiling and condensation heat transfer phenomena are discussed. To take this course, basic knowledge on fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are required.
