This course is to provide the students in electrical and electronics engineering - especially, those who are pursuing their Ph.D. - with the fundamental statistical and theoretical knowledge and applications. Among the main contents are hypothesis testing and various criterion, known signal detection, signal detection in discrete-time, random signal detection, and narrow-band signal detection. (Prerequisite: EE521)
