This general biology class is designed to make freshmen understand concepts of biology and their connections to their lives. Thus, students can understand the basic knowledge and appreciation for how science works in an era when informed decisions regarding health, environmental problems and applications of new technology are prevalent. BS110 is for the students who do not intend to major in biology and BS120 is for students majoring in biology.
