In the summer of 2004, I applied for KAIST - which I thought of as Shangri La. I was accepted at last, and entered in the spring of 2005. But my first semester at KAIST ended in tragedy with lots of Fs. While I was deciding to study very hard from autumn semester, my friend tempted me to apply for Times. I passed very fierce competition (5:1) and became a reporter.

I was born at a small island, Yongdo in Pusan on August 15, 1987. My house has a pretty garden and rooftop with beautiful view, so we can see ocean all the time. I had a very ordinary school life. My GPA was good enough to qualify me for science school. Then I got accepted by KAIST. I hope that my life will continue to be ordinary. I will take a course of biochemistry in spring semester; perhaps it will become my major because I have been very interested in biochemistry since middle school. My ambition is not to become a great scientist but to be the person you can always count on to do his best on an assignment.
