National Conference Invitation

Call for Papers

The Ateneo HPAIR Union is pleased to announce its annual National Conference, themed “Towards a Global Youth Leadership”, to be held on the 26th-27th of January. This conference is intended to be a forum for undergraduate students to exchange ideas and to encourage positive action among the country’s best and brightest youth leaders. Aside from the usual talks, forums and workshops, HPAIR uniquely presents the second installment of its paper presentation series, which is open only to undergraduate students. We in HPAIR believe that undergraduates have the capacity and capability to come up with quality papers; therefore, we are giving you a chance and a platform among your peers, to share your insights, research articles and position papers.

The topics of papers include, but are not limited to:

  • International Relations/ International Issues
  • Leadership Issues
  • Youth Empowerment Issues

All interested students must fit and submit the following qualifications and requirements:

  • The paper presenter must be an undergraduate student or has only been a graduate for less than a year
  • The paper may be an individual or a group effort
  • Presenter must submit a 250- to 350-word abstract of the research paper on or before December 31, 2007
  • A copy of the research paper on or before January 9, 2007
  • Papers should be done in Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007
  • A copy of the presenter’s resume
  • Paper presenters must also register as delegates on or before December 31, 2007

All submitted papers undergo a blind peer review process. Individuals whose papers will be chosen will be informed of the selection and the schedule of their presentation on or before January 12, 2008. Please constantly check the Ateneo HPAIR website for updates.

Hi! I’m interested in submitting a paper for this conference. Do you require a specific format for the paper (e.g. number of pages, font style and size)?

Hi Gen,

Times New Roman would be fine. Also, the font size should be 12. Thanks and please email us at ateneohpairunion0708@yahoo.com for any other questions.

Hi Gen,

No required number of pages for the actual paper. But you have to submit to us a 250-350-word abstract of your paper by Dec. 17. Other specific details about this can be found in the Call for Papers page.

Hi. Good morning, I’m one of the lucky delegates and it looks like you got my name wrong. Its Ranzel Genia Montanez, not “Senia”.
